On the occasion due to the anniversary of the Day for Handicapped and in conjunction with Rehabilitation & Education Center for Disabled Children, Sunrise Nha Trang Beach Hotel & Spa had the honor to hold the ANNIVERSARY CEREMONY FOR DISABLED CHILDREN on 17th April 2008. Over 100 children with mental, deaf & dumb disabilities joined together on their special day.

100 gifts distributed to Children right on the event and the rest 50 gifts delivered to Children who could not afford to go by Mr. Felix Von Bodman – General Manager of Sunrise Nha Trang Beach Hotel & Spa.
It has been the joy of a cheerful and significant event with dancing shows performed by Deaf & Dumb Children. Speeches by sponsors and other mental disabilities brought smiling and tears also for those who attended the event. Handicrafts are made by Deaf Children inclusive of drawing pictures & making artificial flowers displayed during the event which make guests interested and appreciated so much.

It has been for two years since the date Sunrise established a charity fund in line with its community vision to create a better living for the less fortunate amongst the local community.  The money comes from generous donations made by Hotel’s guests and Sunrise’s own associates.

Sunrise Nha Trang has not only shown its force to be recognized within Nha Trang amongst some of the country’s top hotels and resorts, but it is also known as a “Hotel with a Heart” through its continuous contributions to the local community.

Located in Nha Trang, the Rehabilitation & Education Center for Disabled Children is a school for disabled children whose challenges fall into several categories including cerebral palsy, deafness, mental retardation, and autism. The mission of the school is to give them new opportunities to make their lives more interesting and independent. They learn the basics of education related to their cognitive age.
