SUNRISE HOTEL IS BRINGING SMILES TO DISABLED CHILDREN
On the occasion of International Children Day and Year end of school 2010, Sunrise Nha Trang Beach Hotel & Spa together with Sao Mai Handicapped Training Center held a Year End Celebration for Disable Children on 28th May 2010. 50 gifts including of cookies, cake and polo shirts handed to 50 children by hotel’s General Manger at the event. The event was one of joy and cheerful atmosphere with many small happy faces from children. It has been for 3 years since the date Sunrise established a charity fund in line with its community vision to create a better living for the less fortunate amongst the local community. The money comes from generous donations made by Hotel’s guests with slogan ”your small change could make a big difference to someone’s life” and Sunrise’s own associates in which its monthly community service includes activities like visiting the Mental Hospital in Dien Phuoc with 100kg donation of rice for the patients’ canteen, food support to the Home for the elderly citizens who are homeless or whose families are unable to financially take care of them, purchase of essential equipments for the Children’s Hospital and the local orphanages. Sunrise Nha Trang has not only shown its force to be recognized with in Nha Trang amongst some of the country’s top hotels and resorts, but it is also known as a “Hotel with a Heart” through its continuous contributions to the local community.
